Tutorial: Quick and Easy Thank you Tags.

I'm back in my studio today, getting packages ready to ship in the mail. I have recently been working on de-stashing some of my Rachel Ashwell goods. I have tons of it! As much as I do love her designs and pretty florals, As you may notice... my taste in style has "moved on". But I still do however have lot of her fabric scraps and fabric cuts as well and they are timeless and perfect for any other crafty projects.

Well, no doubt that whoever bought these items, still collect Rachel Ashwell linens so I decided to make some quickie Thank You tags to include in the package.

Yes, I tinkered a little... cos we all know just wrapping a package to ship could be boring, so I had to CREATE SOMETHING!

So I started by scanning a scrap of Rachel Ashwell fabric.
Printed a full page of the scan on white card stock.
Then divided and cut the sheet into 6 tags. (approx 2.5"w x 3.5"h)
Punched a hole on the top part for hanging tag.

And on photoshop, I created a sheet of Thank You's in pretty pink font. I cut around the Thank You's and in the bottom part I even punched out a nice lace edging.

I simply tinkered around with some pretty ribbon/lace combination in my stash and ribbon roses. Yes, I'm a ribbon junkie too. (Besides, I now have a studio where I can store my "junk"...*wink*)

And there you have it...
Just a little addition to a package that will make it more appealing and pretty.

AND... While I'm at it... why not give you a digital copy of my fabric scan and Thank You's sheets.

I hope you enjoy this easy tutorial and the freebies and that you'll do something pretty with them.

And while I'm here, I want to wish you all a Happy New Year 2014
Looking forward to another wonderful year of publishing.

With lots of love...
Sonia
