A Vintage Charming December

I am pretty sure that like me, you wonder how this year just flew by. And what better way to end a year if not by celebrations. Starting from Christmas and then on to the new year, the season brings families and friends together at warm and jolly homes. We may say Christmas is for the children but for many of us its also time to get creative and enjoy decorating.

So again this year as I publish another holiday issue, I decided to also include and little Extra just because... it is Christmas after all.

Available in print and digital here: http://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/853158

Did you know that candles have been around since 200 BC? I especially put an emphasis to candles in this issue. I love the soft, warm, or romantic ambiance of a candle and they set a wonderful mood in a holiday home.

Available as a FREE Digital issue or optional print purchase: http://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/853154
(For free digital just click on tab that says READ NOW)

As always, I also try to have a good mix of projects and showcase homes in different styles hoping to have something for everyone. So if I could not fit it in one issue, I published a half that is a FREE DIGITAL

I would like to THANK ALL THE CONTRIBUTORS worldwide, who made this issue so special with their talents and love for home making.

December 2013 issue, now available!

“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder

Time to kindle once again those Christmas traditions and the memories that come with them.

Me on the left with my older sister, standing by the Christmas tree. (My parents house in Malta)

Yes I am wearing a tartan skirt, with the pinned, frayed split on the side. [smiles]

Everyone has their own traditions, whether it be something known for the location or passed on from generation to generation.

In this issue, the contributors and I share those traditions with you along with our memories and how they play their part during the holiday season in the present.

Sneak previews from features by Krissie Karlson and Jennelise Rose

Previews from features by Courtney Milton and Vibeke Svenningsen

The issue was meant to publish in November but it kept growing and growing that I had to publish in December 2013 along with an "Extra" edition.

And as a BIG thank you for your support and following, I present the EXTRA to you for free digital viewing. I hope you enjoy it.

I would like to thank all the contributors who worked with me this past year. It has been a great year with six gorgeous issues and none of this could have been possible without them. Together we strive to inspire you to create and surround yourself with beautiful things, no matter how simple or elaborate. Creating Vintage Charm In-House Designs

Am I ever so excited to finally be able to introduce you to the new Pastel Cottage Collection. Our new in-house designed fabrics and drink ware.

I had previously released the Spring Collection and just had too much fun and enjoyed the creative challenge.
Our website is now offering both collections.

I love pastel tones and now that we are finally in Spring season I was more then ever wanting to create in pastels.

But my designs somehow were also inspired by yummy cupcakes, pastel frosting, icing roses, colorful sprinkles and polka dot cupcake papers.

Fabric is available on my site at Creating Vintage Charm but guess what? If you like my designs so much, you can also get them on wallpaper and wall decals via Spoonflower.com

Pinch me... I cannot believe I did this!!

At this time, there are 7 designs in the collection available but the entire collection consists of 12 designs total. 5 more to be released soon.

Can you imagine all the fun sewing projects you can make?  Fabric would be great for place mats (with matching mugs *wink), napkins, tote bags, pillows, bunting and other fun sewing projects... I cannot wait to start creating with it.

And if sewing is not your thing... then perhaps paper may get your creative juices flowing.
Yes, it's also available on paper for your crafting projects.

Pastel Cottage Designer Paper
20 pages, published 4/12/2013
Pastel Cottage Collection Designer Paper for your arts and crafts

And cups to match are available too!!...

My goodness!!... I sure went out there with this one....but I LOVE it all! I sure hope you do too. I want to hear what you think!!
