Wishes do come true: Tinkered Treasures By Elyse Major

There is nothing more exciting then to see my friend's dreams come true. To not just wish but also work hard to achieve.

Elyse is an inspiration to me and I invite you to read her blog post about her Wishtory, {wish story} and how her dream of publishing a creative book became a reality. She doesn't hold back and it is an amazing story.

Elyse may not know this but she made it to My Heroes board on Pinterest.

And of course, I couldn't wait till the book Tinkered Treasures released, to get my hands on a copy.

A lovely cover to start...

And a peek at the inside...

I love this book. Elyse adds her personal touch to household items such as recyclables, matchboxes, jars, tin cans, clothes pegs and other items one usually finds at home. She turns them into the prettiest things to either enjoy or give as gifts, or even party favors or party decor. Most projects are very easy too and each project has easy to follow instructions with photos and illustrations as well.

With Christmas almost with us, if you are looking for a great gift to give to a creative friend or perhaps if you are looking for ideas and inspiration for creating your own gifts then I hope you will check the book out.
It is on sale on Amazon.com

In the mean time, Elyse is working on her second book Seaside Tinkered Treasures.
You go girl!
She is a thrill and I enjoy following her with her writing and creating venture. She is also on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ElyseMajorTinkeredTreasures, so I hope you drop by and say hello!

And this post also goes to show that wishes do too come true.

“It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt

Well, I am off to tinker {*wink*}some, in my studio. I am still working on improvements here and Christmas issue of Creating Vintage Charm is underway as well. It is going to be one amazing issue.

Until then...
